Surprise! Our friends left us a wedding gift for us as we came in the door. We had planned on eating out but decided to enjoy the sunset from our deck and eat at home outdoors like we did on our engagement. Now this is living! BTW, Katie and Roxanne, the champagne and carrot cake was DELICIOUS!!! Thank you!

Today (October 1st 2008) is the first day of the rest of our lives!

Today, Amy and I got marrried on the West Maroon Trail near the fabled Maroon Bells in our little town of Aspen, CO. We are SO excited (and thankful!) to live in such a beautiful place. We pinch ourselves daily and make every attempt to enjoy it together and revel in its beauty.
